We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data as described in this policy.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, what we do with it, whom we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors to our website, people who contact us, our clients, and businesses and individuals we engage with through our B2B marketing.

The personal data we collect

When you contact us or request a service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, job role, and anything you include in your message or enquiry.

When you use our website, technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and usage data is collected through cookies (see our Cookie Policy) where you've consented.

For our business-to-business marketing, business contact details (name, business email, job title, employer, and company information) relating to people in their professional capacity at organisations in the manufacturing and industrial sector.

 

Where do we get your data

We collect data directly from you when you complete a form, email us, or engage our services. For our B2B marketing, we also collect business contact details from publicly available professional sources, such as Companies House, company websites, and professional networking platforms.

Why do we use your data and our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, we must have a "lawful basis" for using your personal data. We rely on the following:

To respond to your enquiries and provide our services — lawful basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in responding to you.

To carry out B2B marketing to organisations in our sector — lawful basis: legitimate interests (our interest in promoting our services to relevant businesses, balanced against your rights). We have completed a Legitimate Interests Assessment for this activity. Where we contact sole traders or non-corporate partnerships, or where the law otherwise requires it, we rely on your consent.

To set non-essential cookies — lawful basis: consent.

To comply with our legal obligations — lawful basis: legal obligation.

You can object to our use of your data for direct marketing at any time, and we will stop. This right is absolute.

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf (processors) — including our website platform (Wix), email and IT providers, who process data under contract and only on our instructions.

• Brokers, insurers and advisers—  "Where you ask us to, or where you have agreed to it, we may introduce you to a relevant broker, insurer or adviser and share the details necessary to do so. We will tell you who, and you can decline."

• Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.

 

We do not sell your personal data.

Enquiry data is kept for 24 months after our last contact; client records are kept for 7 years to meet legal and accounting obligations; marketing data is kept until you opt out or it is no longer accurate or relevant.
